The studio Portrait photography session usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Depending on the studio headshot usage, we utilize a handful of lighting setups, two or three backgrounds, wardrobe changes if you brought them, and plenty of assistance with poses, clothing choices, and "looks".

- How long does a headshot sitting take?
- Studio headshot photography sessions usually require thirty to sixty minutes per person for a standard sitting. Teams are scheduled in rolling slots so nobody sits waiting and the whole group is finished in a single block.
- How many final images do I get?
- For a one hour headshot photography session, I usually deliver anywhere from 30-60 images in a gallery. You choose your selects from the full proof gallery. You can choose up to 10 images as your selects, which will be then be edited further.
- Can you match the look of our existing team headshots?
- If the existing set is done with a solid backdrop, the answer is usually "yes". Send me the existing set and I will do my best to match background, crop and lighting so a new hire does not stand out on the team page.
- What should I wear for a headshot?
- For a headshot photography session in New Orleans, or worldwide, wear whatever you are most comfortable in that represents the look you're going for. Necklines that frame the face, minimal pattern (solid colors that are ideally not white or black), and a jacket or second top for a quick change are always helpful.
- Do you shoot on location at our office?
- I can shoot headshot photography sessions either on location or in my studio. Regularly, I bring a full studio — background, lighting, etc— to corporate and business or education settings. I just need about a ten by twelve foot corner with a power outlet.
- How fast is delivery?
- Headshot photography session proofs are usually available within 1-2 weeks and retouched selects within a week of your choices. Same-day turnaround is available for a small fee.
